Agile Leadership: Leadership in an Agile Organization

Self-organization is what drives agility. But that doesn’t mean that agile teams don’t need leadership. On the contrary, leadership is also important in the agile context. However, the manager is more of a guest than a command giver. The agile leader extends an invitation to collaborate and sets an example. To do this, they must understand and internalize the agile principles and values and be able to act accordingly.

This sounds simple at first – but it’s not. We have been dealing with the role of management in agile companies since our founding and know from our own experience that you can only lead agile teams with tact. (Remote) Interim ScrumMaster

The Interim ScrumMaster leads your team until it is staffed internally. He or she takes care of the setup, development and support of the Scrum team and the Scrum processes. This includes accompanying the team and the product owner as well as working in the ScrumMaster team.

In teams that are distributed across several locations, the ScrumMaster ensures functioning processes and structures as well as team cohesion. Our ScrumMasters take responsibility, work closely with management and exemplify the agile values.

(Remote) Agile Coach

The Agile Coach is your guide in the agile jungle. Typically, he or she performs many different tasks in the company: as trainer, facilitator, consultant, mentor, and possibly even mediator.

The Agile Coach has the role of keeping calm, stabilizing the organization with good solutions and subsequently moving it forward. He or she is also the rock in crisis situations – a kind of ScrumMaster for ScrumMasters. The Agile Coach also coaches Product Owners and managers in their new roles. He or she supports the establishment of agile teams and work models, conducts kick-offs and accompanies the development of an agile community.

Whether it’s a team workshop, project kick-off, training, continuing education or a large group conference with more than 100 participants: From our experience, we know that with the right technical tools and the appropriate methods, almost all meeting formats are also possible virtually.

We help you with conception, preparation, briefing of participants, implementation and follow-up of your specific workshop with your desired number of participants. We rely on short content slots and a lot of interactivity in small groups, supported by digital whiteboards and descriptive survey tools. In this way, we efficiently condense the information flows, create transparent visualizations, and offer all participants the opportunity to optimally engage in the process with interactive exercises.

These pictures say more than a thousand words: As agile sketchers we accompany you with an open ear and a quick pen in strategy workshops and design thinking processes as well as other (agile) meeting formats. We use the pen to make visible what was previously unclear and promote your effective communication.

In visual documentation (graphic recording), we design more than just attractive flipcharts and digital whiteboards: We condense what has been said and bring content to the point in a graphic way.

In visual process support (visual facilitation), we show connections that were previously unclear, capture moods, and present processes in a structured and comprehensible way.
