In her more than 20 years of work experience, half of it in agile teams and as an agile coach, Elisabeth Petracs has gained one central insight above all: Brave people not only advance societal development, but also that of companies.
As a knowledge manager, she knows: moments of change offer companies the ideal opportunity to build a learning organization. So where others feel pressure to change, she sees the space to mobilize and actively shape. Her first exposure to agile was as a subject matter expert in a cross-functional software development team in the telecommunications industry. Since then, she has also accompanied numerous teams outside of IT that wanted to transform their collaboration and ways of working. For her, the focus is always on people and their needs. She is convinced that people themselves know how to improve their organization when given the chance. Moreover, co-creation is the most pragmatic way for innovation, says the design thinking expert.
Elisabeth likes to spend her free time with her son on the baseball field or with books – both reading and writing them.
