Lena Jeßen

Strategic thinking and practical implementation – Lena Jeßen is capable of both. Between these two points, this industrial manager and international business economist creates clarity on the way to achieving a goal. With her knowledge of Design Thinking and agile development methods, she has designed product and quality assurance strategies with and for engineers, showing that “New Work” also functions in traditional engineering. Lena was then significantly responsible for developing the VDI #nwing conference.

From Lena’s point of view, two things above all are important for collaborative development of something new: a desire for learning and the ability to listen and ask questions. In doing so, an open and honest communication possible creating a “we” feeling. It also enables the simplification of the most diverse processes and procedures – and that is ultimately the goal of agility.
