Paul Koehler had his first experience with Scrum during a team building session with a Scrum simulation game. What impressed him most about it was how quickly the team learned new strategies and optimized the cooperation. In just a few sprints the performance increased exponentially and the team members motivated each other to perform at their best.
What fascinates him about agility is that he can literally watch as old patterns of thought and behavior, seemingly set in stone, begin to crumble and the hidden potential beneath them comes to light. Whether as an industrial engineer – with a focus on mechanical engineering – or privately as an amateur photographer: Paul is passionate about technology and has an eye for detail without losing sight of the big picture. He likes to experiment with variables and analyze the results. His intrinsic motivation to understand and optimize all factors and interrelationships is one of his most valuable resources as an agile consultant in the automotive, banking and finance sectors.
