Roland Dunzendorfer wanted to offer his children what he had missed in his own school days: a self-determined approach to learning. That’s why, in addition to his engineering office for landscape planning, he founded the learning project Colearning in Vienna on a voluntary basis with other parents. Scrum has proven to be the right framework for learners and teachers to structure tasks, maintain an overview and build knowledge in a self-organized way. As project manager for Scrum4Schools in Austria, Roland supports partner schools in the application of our learning method and sets valuable impulses for new ways in education.
The enthusiastic sportsman finds his balance to his job on his bike, in the mountains, in the water or playing disc golf. In general, Roland seems to be always on the move. He goes to work with head, heart and a concentrated load of zest for action and knows how to promote progress with constructive feedback. Step by step, his palpable passion brings him closer to his goal of ensuring that children at school are finally prepared for the challenges of the 21st century.
